Sleeve Drawing

The sleeve of a pipe is generally a protective ring to keep open a pipe hole or a ring used to fill in the gap between a pipe and its surroundings. Pipe sleeve may also act as a covering to create a barrier between a pipe and other surface. These sleeves are used during the construction of a building or pipe system.

Coordinated Sleeve Drawings show all the Duct and Pipe Penetrations through Slabs, and walls.Sleeve drawings also contain description of all penetrations, showing size of Duct/Pipe, as well as opening size to accommodate pipe, with or without insulation.
